Baptist
We've attended Oakwood Church for just a few years, but have fallen in love with the amazing pastoral staff and wonderful folks who worship there. It's a big church with a small church feel. There are numerous programs, ranging from Cancer Warriors, a counseling center, Special Needs, and many more. They have more children's programs than you can count, ran by a loving staff of Godly men and women. There are small groups for every age and interest, and it's in these groups that you can establish a real personal connection. We've not attended this church, but hear wonderful things about it from our Catholic friends.

Several of our friends attend this church and speak very highly of it.
Miscellaneous Household Services
New Braunfels-based plumbing service. They also provide excellent water heaters and water softeners, and whole-house filters.

One of the best gun stores I've ever been in. Wide selection at competitive prices, with knowledgeable staff and excellent gunsmiths.

Open year-round with a wonderful selection of fine Christmas decorations. ​​Absolutely worth your visit anytime during the year.

Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre
​The best kept entertainment secret in New Braunfels. Entertainers include a diverse array such as Three Dog Night, The Grand Ol' Christmas Show (a must-see!), Exile, The Isaacs, David Benoit, Michael Martin Murphey, and the list goes on and on. They also feature numerous top-rated bands covering stars such as Elvis, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, and more. The newly remodeled theatre and upgraded sound system make for a wonderful venue with great acoustics.
